Wolfgang Stadler is from Austria. He owns a '92 2.4l diesel powered Hilux crewcab. It was only slightly modified since he drives about twentythousand miles a year on-highway. The Hilux features a 2.4l diesel engine, putting out 79 HP, a solid axle leaf spring front suspension, free wheeling hubs, a rear Toyota LSD-differential. He added an additional leaf to the front springs and fitted slightly larger tires which gives it a 2" lift. He built a new rear bumper and a brushguard. It also has a new air-intake in the front left fender for deeper water-crossing, a hardtop and a CB-radio. The towing reciever can be disasembled for off-road driving. Note the four full size doors. Toyota beat Nissan to it long ago.
