yes, more slack
yes, the tensioner will handle it no prob.
it changes the cam timing a LITTLE since the cam gear is now closer to the crank
not noticeable performance wise...
usually
and u can buy adjustable crank and cam gears
replacement pistons are always destroked .010 or .020" so they'll clear a resurfaced block ...

: Hey Buz.......if the head or block was machined, for flatness......would that cause some extra slack in the timing chain or would a new tensioner take care of it no matter what.....
