Look at Iraq - your defense dept will not allow a Muslim religion based government to be formed (e.g a goverment run by shiite cleric Al Sadr) .

So Al Sadr and his followers are just waiting until the USA leaves and is in deep economic recession and then he will make his move and overthrow the existing USA imposed goverment.

By then (2009 or 2010) the USA will be too broke and too war weary to do anything about Al Sadr (unless McCain gets in and then McCain will have a draft to send every 18 year old he can find over to Iraq)
