Brand does matter much since wear is not an issue if a component is regularly greased.

Mobil 1 (red colored) grease is good for wheel bearings and grease fittings that require only a lithium based chassis grease.

Mobil 1 should not be used in a fitting that calls for a molybdenum disulphide lithium based chassis grease.

I avoid Walmart Supertech products because of the outrageous claims they make. Example: They claim Supertech Dexron VI is a suitable substitute for Toyota Type T-IV or WS automatic transmission fluids.
