This is Corey's 1980 Toyota 4x4 with ARB air lockers, front and rear 36"superswampers, 5:29 gears, 8" of lift (no body), and stainless brake lines. It has Confer axle trusses, extended differential breathers and Rancho traction shocks. A Downey spare fuel cell ensures the long distance wheelin' trips are fuel ready. The body was redone 2 years ago which includes a fiberglass bed from THE TOY BOX and new fenders and hood painted in the base clear fashion. The winch is a 6000 lb Warn with Warn 5" spot lamps on the front for lighting, hooked up to a floor dimmer switch from a domestic for easy use. The power is from the Japanese. The original 20r block was scrapped and replaced with a 22r bored .0030 over size. Balanced parts were installed including shot peened rods and all de-burred. The the head was the original, but all redone, ported and polished with a new high lift cam (Downey), header (Downey) and Weber carb topped off the fuel requirements.
